Roses
Roses are a great addition to any landscape or flower bed. They are drought resistant and can work well in xeriscapes.
We offer a large variety of roses; Hybrid Tea, Floribunda, Grandiflora, Knock out, Drift, Climbing and Shrub roses.
We select the varieties that do well in our zone and our alkaline soil. They thrive in full sun and can tolerate some shade.
Rose Categories

Hybrid Tea- They are the most popular type of rose. The flowers are large and are usually one flower per stem, making them an excellent choice for cut flowers. The plants are usually 2'-6' tall.

Grandiflora- Vigorous plants, they can be up to 8'-10' tall, with hybrid tea type flowers, either single or clusters on long stems. They are a good choice for a mass color effect, for number of cuttable flowers produced and as background or barrier plants.

Floribundas- These produce large quantities of flowers in clusters on bushy plants. The flowers are usually smaller than hybrid tea roses. They are used for providing mass color, informal hedges, low borders or as container plants.

Climbing- These develop long canes that make them great for trailing on trellises, fences, arbors, pergolas, and gazebos. They produce either large single flowers or clustered blooms on a stem. They do not climb like vines so they must be tied to a support.

Shrub- These are great general use roses. They provide attractive floral displays, and disease-resistant foliage. The knock out rose is one variety of shrub rose that does very well in our area. It comes as single or double blooms in red, pink, yellow, white, coral, and orange.

Drift- These are a type of groundcover rose that have been proven to do very well in our area. They grow to a height of 1'-2' and spread out to a width of 3'. They come in several colors, red, pink, apricot, peach, coral, white, and blush, in single or double blooms.

Always use a systemic rose care when planting roses.
